Scanners Supported
Over 200 scanners supported, running at full rated speed.

Project Administration
Manage an unlimited number of clients and projects.

Operability
Our systems are network and media independent.

Multiple Projects
Unlimited number of projects on a single piece of media (i.e. CD-ROM).

Index Fields
Create up to 25 unique index fields per project.

OCR

OCR options enable users to customize multiple index fields within a single document by utilizing various recognition engines such as optical character recognition (OCR), handwriting recognition (ICR), MICR reading, Braille, dot matrix recognition, and optical mark recognition (OMR).
Barcode
Optional barcode features can be customized and support over thirty barcodes on a single page.

Exporting
Ability to export into over three dozen popular document imaging systems including DocuPACT, File Magic, Keyfile, Kodak, Macrosoft, OnBase, Optika, OTG, PaperClip, PSI, Summation, and Watermark.

Importing
Flexible import of images individually, in batches, or in batches with index information.

Scanning
MICR and hardware barcode recognition supports scanner data transmission.

Scan directly into PAPERVISION data groups for document retrieval.

Break documents on a fixed number of pages, barcode mark sense sheets, any barcode value, or blank sheets of paper.

Perform duplex scanning with a simplex scanner.

Automatic page rotation rotates the image in 90-degree increments.

Manually insert and remove document breaks.

Mark document breaks without waiting for the scanner to time-out.

image Cleanup
Image cleanup options can be setup to process in a user-defined sequence, and include image cropping, image scaling, inversion, character smoothing, halftone removal, black border removal, punch hole removal, line removal and reconstruction, noise removal, character dilation and erosion, and image region extraction.
Others include:

Deskew
Straightens a tilted image for improved image quality and ensures that dependent processes, such as OCR, are performed accurately.

Despeckle
Removes random noise (i.e. specs) from the image, for enhanced readability and sharper printing.

Character Enhancement
Improves OCR readability of scanned characters from poor-quality original documents, such as dot matrix print.

Registration Settings
Horizontal and vertical coordinates of an image are identified, then defined zones appear in a uniform location across all images if performing OCR.

Black Border Removal
Removes the black border found around the edge of an image.

White Area Removal
Removes the dead white space found around smaller documents.

Automatic Image Rotation
Detects, rotates, and re-saves landscape oriented documents that were captured in portrait, and vice versa.

Image Region Extraction
Define a region of the captured image, then resave that region as a new file....ideal for signature cards or when only a select portion of an image is necessary.

Indexing
Optional double-key verification on specific index fields forces index values to be entered twice to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

Indexing screen layout maximizes image visibility.

Optional index field verification ensures that correct value type, length, and mask criteria are met.

Document duplication creates multiple documents using the same set of image files.

Document copying creates a copy of a document with separate image files.

Index field masking allows you to predefine the format for the information to be entered.

Auto-carry defines a number of characters to carry between index fields to limit keystrokes on repetitive information.

Auto-increment defines a numeric value to increase by when scanning documents.

Flexible hand-key indexing allows you to specify the page of the document that is displayed when index values are being hand-entered; useful if index values are located on different pages of a document.

Summary Reports provide comprehensive billing information for a data group.

Production reports provide comprehensive productivity tracking on all operators, presented on a per-project basis, grouped by operator.
